The Holiday Home in Apricale, in the wonderful Ligurian hinterland
The “Happy house of grandfather Battistino” is located at the entrance of Apricale in an enviable position which allows you to admire the country directly. The apartment is located within a beautiful two-storey stone villa and with two Italian gardens where there are fruit trees and comfortable spaces to dine or relax reading a book. The House is also one of the few in the village to be equipped with a convenient private garage on the ground floor which can be used upon request at time of booking.
The apartment was completely renovated in August 2014 respecting its history and its characteristics (you will find hardwood floors with different types of early 20th century tiles and wooden doors with antique frames), but renewing and modernizing everything (new standard electrical system and heating). The predominant color is white, which is accompanied by different shades of gray.

Kitchen and living room in maximum brightness
The main characteristics of the grandfather’s House happy Battistino is the brightness with a priceless view of the village of Apricale and the green of the surrounding hills.
The apartment is about 80 square meters and consists of a large living room (with TV) with kitchen (fully equipped with dishwasher) and dining area, a large bathroom with shower, two bedrooms and storage room with washing machine
The kitchen is directly connected with the outdoor area where you can safely make breakfast then lunch on graceful wrought iron table set on a private terrace that is part of the apartment. In house facilities including bed linen and towels are always clean
Bedrooms and bathrooms
The beds are 4, but the comfortable sofa can accommodate even one more person. The bedroom and the living room have a balcony.
Apricale and the exteriors to live all day
In front of the House is the bar Apricus with WI-FI and a restaurant, while the sea is only about 13 miles and Nice airport about 60. Apricale has been elected one of the most beautiful villages of Italy due to its architectural structure, characterized by narrow streets and stone houses.
The country offers the possibility to participate in theatrical and musical events. If you want during the fall you can also participate in the collection of the olives from our own campaigns that are just 10 minutes ‘ drive from home in a pristine environment and silent!
The wide spaces are ideal for families with children, but also for couples seeking a relaxing holiday. In summer the majority of life can be lived outdoors.

How to arrive and welcome
If you come from France you have to exit the motorway (A10) at Ventimiglia, instead if you come from Genoa you have to exit at Bordighera. Then follow the Aurelia SS1 (the main road that runs along the sea) to Vallecrosia and then take the SP64 to Isolabona (a few kilometers after Dolceacqua) and then turn right onto the SP63 to Apricale. The journey from Vallecrosia to Apricale takes about 20/25 minutes.
The nearest petrol station is on the SP64 before arriving in Dolceacqua (5 km from Apricale).
The house is located 100 meters after the entrance to the town in via Roma 21 on the left side. As a reference you have the “Apricus” bar (free wi-fi) and the “Mare e Monti” restaurant. The house is in front of the restaurant where you will find two flights of stairs that will take you to the first floor where the apartment is located.
For the collection and delivery of the keys you must contact Stefano who lives downstairs with his family (the door on the left you find on the first flight of stairs).
His mobile phone is 3391279568. Please, if you can, call him before arriving in the village to communicate the estimated time of arrival. Stefano will gladly show you the whole house and its equipment and will also be your point of reference for any requests on site.
Service information
Access to the village is 100 meters from the house and you will find excellent restaurants there. In front of the house there is also a convenient grocery store for shopping in case you want to eat at home, while the closest supermarket (LIDL) is in Camporosso (Km 10 from Apricale). In the town square there is a post office and an ATM, while the pharmacy is on the road before entering the town (Tel. 0184/208020). In via Roma, 1 there is the pro loco that will provide you with useful information on the tourist attractions in the area and on festivals and cultural events.
If you want the house is equipped with a private garage that can also be reserved directly on site at the price of Euro 10 per day.
We have an agreement for free access to WI-FI at the “Apricus” bar located in front of the house. the manager will give you the password and will welcome you with pleasure.
At home you will find ready-made beds, wipes and a first bathroom set for arrival so that you can only think about relaxation and fun. The house has been completely renovated to make your stay more comfortable; please use it carefully
